and they love ice cream

Sometimes I freak out and can't stop downloading music. It's very consuming. I think it's the instinct I have to collect things that just keeps getting overthrown by my fear of accumilating junk. So I'm at the end of another day that I've spent on allmusic.com getting track lists and cover art and I forgot all about the blogging I was going to catch up on today. Then Stephen Colbert was on Letterman and that K.T. Tunstall person was just on Leno and she did that sampling trickery thing that Andrew Bird does at his shows. Stupid scotish girl just ruined the magic. Anyway. Next on the update agenda:

One of the best things about this year has been meeting and getting to know the girls I took to New Orleans. I've had a pretty cynical attitude towards the new direction that 24:7 has taken since Jesse left and one of the ways this has manifested is in how I view (and judge) the younger generation that is now taking over the ministry. The girls I met and have gotten to know through that trip have totally changed my attitude. God has used them to break my pattern of bitterness and I'm very grateful. Oh and also, they're super fun. Here's proof.

DeeDee came up to CF to visit Kari and I and we decided to surprise Kari.

the surprise.
really she was just confused because first she saw me standing in her lawn with a camera.

on a self-guided tour of kari's house.kari's driveway was getting re-paved.
we tried to leave our mark but it was dry already.

More adventures to follow.
